I'm getting into this soul collage stuff. I knew I wanted to do a dance collage so I've been looking for images for awhile. In keeping with my "color" schemes, this gold one emerged.
Kate, You are doing such an amazing job with these soul collages. They make me feel as if I can see into your soul. Do they feel like that too? What does Cheryl think of them?
This one is fun... well dancing would be, wouldn't it? I still think of you when I see dancing images... even though I've not ever seen you dance I don't think. Just from Sharon talking about your love of dancing. I love to dance, too, though I seldom get to any more. Around the house a bit once in a while.
Over the last dozen years I have been discovering my creative side. In addition to describing myself as a mom, wife, librarian, feminist, humanitarian, and environmentalist; in my bolder moments I also whisper artist. My work has evolved from simple rubber stamping to mixed media with paper and fabric. I love learning (and making up) new techniques for making cards, ATC's, altered books and more. Since I have a very practical, down-to-earth side, I find it hard to make things that have no use whatsoever. Fortunately, "giving a gift" satisfies that need so I find that I pour much of my creativity into gifts for others. Sometimes I make things for myself (if I can justify it...)
